Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for supplying and emptying bed pans.
  • The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
  • The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
  • The candidate will be responsible for delivering messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens across departments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for making beds and maintaining the patient rooms.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • The candidate must transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.
  • The candidate will be responsible for answering call signals.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College degree, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Work setting

  • The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.
  • The candidate must work in a nursing home or home for the elderly.

  • The candidate should undergo a thorough vulnerable sector check and tuberculosis test.
