Job requirement
- Candidates must be registered as a Registered Nurse Extended Class in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants applying for this post must attain a Nurse Practitioner speciality certificate in primary health care or adult care to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have demonstrated clinical expertise and assessment skills to elicit, interpret and utilize information from inmates and other sources.
- Applicants must be able to respond to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post must evaluate their responses to treatment and modify the treatment plan to achieve established goals to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
