Job Description
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
- The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- The candidate must estimate the parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
- The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
- The candidate will be expected to advise customers on work completed and future repair needs.
- The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- The candidate will be responsible for coaching and instructing apprentices.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification and Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement Certification.

- The candidate must be knowledgeable about Engine repair, Electrical and electronic system, Diesel engines, Diagnostics, Brake system, Hydraulic system, Fuel and emission system, Automatic transmission and Drive train components.
