Job description
- Your day begins at the depot, where they will sort and prepare the day’s deliveries.
- The majority of your day will be dedicated to outdoor activities, delivering mail and packages to customers along your assigned route, either on foot or in a vehicle.
- Afterward, you’ll return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for future deliveries.
Job requirement
- Applicants should have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence and a clean driving record for at least 3 years (a driver’s abstract is necessary).
- They must possess the physical capability to routinely lift mail items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) during their workday.
- Working in all weather conditions is a fundamental requirement.
- Being available on an on-call basis is mandatory.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and/or French is expected of them.
Work setting
- Candidates must possess customer service experience.
