Job Description
- The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
- The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
- The candidate must cut grass.
- The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
- The candidate must lay sod or seed.
- The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
- The candidate must apply fertilizers.
- The candidate will be responsible for digging cemetery graves.
- The candidate will be responsible for watering and maintaining plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
- The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
Work site environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The candidate should work as a landscape contractor to create and construct large and small projects for residential and commercial properties.
- The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, the art and vocation of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe, and attractive, typically in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.
- The employee should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
