Job Description

  • The candidate will be in charge of calving.
  • The candidate will be in charge of monitoring animal health.
  • The candidate will be in charge of stone and/or wood picking.
  • The candidate will be required to fertilise and spray crops.
  • The candidate will be in charge of harvesting crops.
  • The candidate will be expected to feed and care for animals.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
  • The candidate must detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate will be required to install and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.

  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.

Work Site Environment

  • The candidate must be able to work at heights.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
  • The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.

Experience and Specialization

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate must have experience with a combine harvester, a farm truck, forage equipment, haying equipment, a loader, a manure spreader, planting equipment, a seed drill, a sprayer or duster, a swather, tillage equipment, and a tractor.

Area of Specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in cattle breeding and mechanical work.
