Job Description

  • Applicants are required at this post to partner with and advise all levels of Management and their business units to develop and improve team effectiveness, organizational design and structure working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to recommend and lead continuous improvement initiatives with regard to HR procedures and policies working at this post.
  • People accountable at this post to lead HR-related projects for the assigned clients.
  • They’re also appointed to provide coaching, research data, and propose options and solutions to support the business objectives working at this post.
  • They’re also accountable for making HR-related decisions that support the business that is in the best interest of Air Canada.
  • Candidates applying for this post to develop and deliver presentations to key internal and external partners to support applicable HR-related initiatives working at this post.
  • Applicants who applied for this post are also accountable for partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to develop a recruitment strategy to source appropriate talent for positions requiring very specific and unique job skills.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must have completed a post-graduate degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or a related field of study to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have an HR professional designation to be preferred for this post.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of professional HR experience, which includes experience spent in an HR generalist role.
  • They must have demonstrated ability to identify HR needs and requirements and develop appropriate action plans to be eligible for this post.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have demonstrated project management skills and must have strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills to be considered as an asset for this post.
