Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to act as host/hostess or master of ceremonies, introduce and interview guests, and conduct show or programme proceedings.
  • The candidate will be required to read news, sports, and weather for radio and television.
  • The candidate will be responsible for selecting and introducing music, videos, and other entertainment material for broadcast, as well as making commercial and public service announcements.
  • The candidate will be expected to report on weather conditions using data from weather forecasting services.
  • The candidate will be expected to report on traffic conditions by keeping in touch with external sources of information or by observing traffic from an air or land vehicle.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping the programme on track, responding positively and quickly to problems or changes, and improvising as needed.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 1 to less than 7 months of working experience in similar industry.
