Job Description

• The candidate must assess patients’ diseases or disorders in order to determine appropriate surgical procedures.
• The candidate will be required to act as a consultant to other physicians.
• The candidate must be able to diagnose and treat diseases as well as physiological or psychiatric disorders.
• The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• The candidate will be expected to prescribe medication and treatment as well as refer patients for surgery.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must hold a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), have passed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Exam, and be licenced by provincial or territorial authorities.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
