Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-operational inspections.
• The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials, including concrete and asphalt, as well as other related tasks.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must be able to grind meat.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have Aerial Lift and Aerial Work Platform Certification, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training Certification, Confined Space Entry Training Certification, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Certification, and a valid Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must perform underground work.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration despite these conditions.
• The candidate must be willing to work in hazardous conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty, cold/refrigerated and hot conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate must be willing to work in mines and quarries, industrial plants, factories, and construction sites.
• The candidate must be able to work in multiple locations to support employees stationed at various worksites.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
