Job Description
- Candidates will have to prepare flower beds by hand digging and rototilling and raking.
- Candidates will have to maintain plant materials in the Park area in the best and most orderly manner.
- Candidates will have to perform park maintenance such as litter control and winter duties such as snow removal.
- Candidates must respond to horticulture questions for the public.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must attain a diploma or certificate in horticulture or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates must have considerable experience as a practicing gardener.
- Candidates may require a structural greenhouse and interior plant exterminator license.
- Candidates must be physically capable of performing the required duties.
Work setting
- Candidates may work shifts and weekends and overtime as required.
