Job description

  • The candidate in this position will be required to supervise activities of staff who prepare food.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to supervise activities of staff who portion food.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to coordinate the activities of staff who prepare food.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to coordinate the activities of staff who portion food.  
  • The candidate in this position will be required to prepare reports.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to submit reports. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to maintain records of stock.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to maintain records of repairs.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to maintain records of sales. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to maintain records of wastage. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to establish work schedules for the staff.  
  • The candidate in this position will be required to estimate supplies. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to estimate ingredients.  
  • The candidate in this position will be required to order supplies. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to order ingredients. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to ensure food service. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to ensure quality control. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to train staff in job duties. 
  • The candidate will be required to train the staff in sanitation procedures. 
  • The candidate will be required to train staff in safety procedures. 
  • The candidate will be required to establish methods to meet work schedules.  
  • The candidate will be required to supervise around three to four people. 
  • The work setting is a restaurant. 

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • The candidate should have an experience of at least 7 months to less than 1 year to apply for this job.
  • The candidate is required to have a Criminal record check before  applying for this job.
  • The candidate is required to have a Basic security clearance before applying for this job.   
  • Public transportation is available for the candidate to use.
  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • The candidate should be a team player.
  • The candidate should have client focus.
  • The candidate will be required to meet tight deadlines.
