Job Description

• The candidate must train employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate will be expected to recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• The candidate will be expected to prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to increase productivity and product quality.
• The candidate will be expected to supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) worker activities.
• The candidate must devise methods for meeting work schedules and coordinating work activities with other work units.
• The candidate must identify, evaluate, control, and prevent hazards at all stages of the food manufacturing process.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 11 to 15 people.
• The candidate will be expected to supervise process control and machine operators, as well as food and beverage processing.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate should be reliable.

Work site environment

• The candidate must be able to work in cold/refrigerated conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.

• The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate should be willing to work overtime if necessary.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
