Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and applying pesticides to crops as needed.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
- The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
- The candidate must spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides to control pests.
- The candidate must control water saturation, light, and temperature as directed for crop growth and development.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
Work site environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work in hot, wet/damp and cold/refrigerated conditions.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions.
