Farm supervisor

Job Description
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must keep financial and production records.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- The candidate must ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
- The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality control and production records.
- The candidate must supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining work records and logs.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, feedlots, and livestock farming.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees
