Job description
- All candidates will be responsible for the management of the local environmental health and safety management system.
- They will also develop annual EHS business plans identifying functional activities, training, machine guarding, ergonomic etc.
- Candidates will serve as the champion for implementing corporate EHS initiatives and continual improvement objectives at the local level and will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary corporate EHS protocols are implemented, including the ‘Serious EHSP Incident Notification’ procedure.
- They will also support and assure compliance with incident and near miss investigation processes to ensure compliance with Dana and local recordkeeping requirements and corporate EHS initiatives.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have the ability to keep up to date on the latest compliance obligations and best practices.
- They are also requested to have the ability to develop processes to help assure that proper EHS provisions are incorporated into all jobs performed at the facility, employing techniques of hazard analysis, aspect and impact risk analysis, job safety analysis, safe job procedures and management systems.
