Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to take customers’ orders
  • The candidate will be required to stock serving stations, cupboards, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils and also required to store salad bars in refrigerator
  • The candidate would be responsible for keeping records of the quantities of food used
  • The candidate will be responsible for restocking condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • The candidate will be required to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • The candidate will be required to remove dishes and break down trays when indicated to do so.
  • The candidate would be responsible for notifying manager if a product does not meet specifications.
  • The candidate would be responsible for monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
  • The candidate must ensure that the food is served in the proper portion, arrangement, and garnish.
  • The candidate will be required to serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacle.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping the dining room tables cleaned and organized throughout service.
  • The candidate should have strong knowledge of menu items and beverages
  • The candidate will be responsible for delivering food & beverage in a timely manner
  • The candidate will be required to follow procedures and maintain service standards
  • The candidate must maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • The candidate will be required to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • The candidate will be required to speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • The candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • The candidate must ensure that quality expectations and standards are met.
  • The candidate will be required to set, reset, and clear tables after guests.
  • The candidate will be required to clear tables and unload their trays in the kitchen, separating the dishes, silverware, and linen.
  • The candidate would be responsible for arranging tables and chairs to make room for large groups.
  • The candidates are responsible for seeing that the dining room is well stocked with utensils, napkins, glasses, tablecloths, table decorations, and foods such as butter and crackers or bread.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • The candidate must follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7 months to 1 year of working experience in similar industry.
  • The candidate should have excellent verbal communication.
