Job Description
- People applying for this post are required to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on route working at this post.
- They’re accountable at this post to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- People must have experience in customer service to be eligible for this post.
- They must have experience making deliveries or working as a driver and must attain the ability to work in all types of weather to be eligible for this post.
- People must attain the availability to be on-call and must acquire the ability to read, write and speak English or French to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
- People must have the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg to be eligible for this post.
