Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to plan and delegate daily work assignments for the airport’s ground handling staff using airport automation tools.
  • Candidates are also appointed to contribute to operational safety, a satisfying work environment, improved quality of service, and positive financial results for the station and the Corporation.
  • They’re appointed to coordinate operational activities with Leads.
  • They’re appointed at this post to monitor the deployment of staff in coordination with the Resource Manager and Lead as well as responsible for the effective management & deployment of facility and equipment resources.
  • Candidates are also appointed to anticipate, identify, and resolve service and operational problems with a results-oriented approach to performance.
  • They’re appointed to assume local leadership, as assigned, for specific local initiatives for process & performance improvement.
  • Candidates are appointed to communicate policies, procedures, and changes to staff.
  • They’re appointed to ensure that service standards are practised consistently maintain optimal Union relations and recognize the Union’s leadership.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must attain the ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility.
  • Candidates must attain dedicated leadership skills and demonstrate interest and experience in serving the public.
  • They must have to ensure a strong commitment to teamwork and acquire excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • They must attain the ability to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. 
  • Candidates with dedicated personal Computer skills are preferred for this post. 
  • Candidates must have suggested completion of a bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent to being eligible for this post. 

Work setting 

  • They must attain the ability to obtain security clearance in order to receive the Transport Canada Airport pass.
