Job Description

  • The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • The candidate must be able to use industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other waste.
  • The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • The candidate must clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • The candidate must perform otherย routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
  • The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • The candidate must clear snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

Work setting

  • The candidate should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provide instruction and training in various subjects.

Experience and specialization

Area of work experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience in cleaning.

Equipment

  • The candidate must have experience using industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, and polishing machines.

  • The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check and child abuse registry check.

  • The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
