Job Description
- The candidate will be expected to look after the emotional well-being of children.
- The candidate will be required to supervise and care for children.
- The candidate will be responsible for sterilizing bottles, preparing formulas and changing diapers for infants.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- The candidate will be required to provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
- The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- The candidate will be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
- The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
- The candidate will be responsible for bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children.
- The candidate would be responsible for planning and supervising balanced routines that include physical activities, rest, and playtime.
- The candidate will be in charge of washing, ironing and pressing clothes and household linens.
- The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping duties like cleaning and tidying the room or house, changing beds etc.
- In the absence of the householder, the candidate would be able to assume full responsibility for the household.
- The candidate will be expected to discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
- The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision.
- The candidate will be expected to go shopping for food and household supplies.
- The candidate would be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- The candidate will be expected to calm agitated babies by using specific infant handling strategies and procedures such as soothing.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children in your care.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate will be in charge of children aged 2 to infants (3 months to 11 months).
