Job description
- Candidates will lead by example and ensure that cashier staff demonstrate their CORE Values.
- They also have to ensure cashiers comply with all Store Standards.
- They have to manage schedules, cashier staff hours, days off and vacations within established guidelines.
- Candidates have to ensures exceptional customer service is provided beyond expectation
- They will assist with completing performance reviews of cashier staff in conjunction with the FSM.
- They are also responsible for cash focused promotions/offers
- Candidates will assist with all coin orders, resolve all discrepancies with cash and coin orders.
- They also have to maintain a cash office / safe following Store Standards.
- They will print transaction exception reports weekly identifying variances and also print cash over/ short weekly identifies and investigates variances.
Job requirement
- All candidates must have Planning, Judgement and Decision Making skills.
- They also must have Independent thinking and decision making when dealing with issues related to customer’s requests.
- Candidates require the ability to act upon tasks and goals outlined by management.
- They also must have experience with retail/grocery and cash handling.
- They are also required to have effective organisation and planning skills.
- Supervisory and labour management experience is also must to have.
