Job Description 

  • People who applied for this post are required to complete the analyses and reports on key operational data that measure program effectiveness and administration efficiencies.
  • Applicants are also appointed to prepare financial reports for program areas and ensure timely, accurate financial information and analysis are provided to Toronto Shelter & Support Services divisional management to assist in their operational and financial decision-making.
  • Candidates are also required to oversee the Division’s complement management and administer the divisional staffing budget related to divisional staffing activity working at this post.
  • People applying for this post are required to coordinate and perform research and analysis to prepare reports, including preparing reports to the Province, as required by the service contract working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • They must attain post-secondary education in a discipline pertinent to the job function, such as accounting or finance, to be eligible for this post.
  • People applying for this post must have experience and proficiency in Excel and other computer-based systems, spreadsheets and databases, such as SAP, CAPTOR, Tableau, etc. to be eligible for this post.
  •  They must attain the ability to coordinate large-volume subsidies from federal/provincial ministries and other external funding sources.
  • Applicants must attain the ability to conduct business process reviews and analysis to streamline and improve work efficiencies to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post.

Work setting 

  • They’re accountable at this post to participate in financial control system reviews to ensure the integrity of program payments and revenue streams working at this post.
