Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for performing body care/treatments.
  • The candidate must perform permanent hair removal.
  • The candidate will be responsible for providing general information to customers about beauty products.
  • The candidate will be responsible for advising customers on beauty products suited to their specific coloring and skin type.
  • The candidate must perform an exfoliating body treatment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for applying make-up to customers.
  • The candidate must be able to do eyebrow tinting.
  • The candidate must conduct spider vein treatments.
  • The candidate must apply temporary designs to customers’ skin with electric needles and chemical dyes like Mendhi (henna).
  • The candidate must be able to perform facials effectively.
  • The candidate must repair and mask aesthetic defects.
  • The candidate must apply glycolic acid treatments.
  • The candidate must maintain and develop their own clientele.
  • The candidate must perform cashiering duties.
  • The candidate must provide product demonstrations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for selling the establishment’s products.
  • The candidate must provide relaxation massage services.
  • The candidate must provide skin care treatments.
  • The candidate must perform skin peels.
  • The candidate must provide waxing services.
  • The candidate will be responsible for referring clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate must negotiate with clients for provision of services.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing routine office functions such as reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • The candidate will be responsible for compiling inventory reports.
  • The candidate must maintain professionalism in customer service.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining computerized stock inventory.
  • The candidate must contact potential customers by phone.
  • The candidate must administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower grade mobilizations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing various types of events for publicity, fundraising, and information.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades, or equivalent experience in aesthetician/esthetician and skin care, along with massage therapy or therapeutic massage experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Esthetician certification.

Work setting

  • The candidate must work in an esthetician’s salon, beauty shop or aesthetic service, spa, or sales section.
  • The candidate should have an on-site customer service system where employees work in an office or business location.

  • The candidate should have work experience as a cosmetician/cosmetologist and esthetician.
