Breaker’s Pub Limited is located at Prince Rupert, BC. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Bartender. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day, Evening, Night, Weekend and Flexible Hours.

Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the bar area and washing glassware.
- The candidate must serve food or snacks.
- The candidate must advise on wine selection.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising food and beverage servers as well as other staff.
- The candidate must provide recommendations for drink selections.
- The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment for beverages.
- The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
- The candidate will be responsible for operating the video lottery terminal.
- The candidate must respond to customer complaints or concerns.
- The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
- The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers.
- The candidate must be able to handle conflict situations.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
- The candidate must have the Serving It Right Certificate.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.

- The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
