Job Description
- Banking Advisor is a full time sales and advisory position with Royal Bank of Canada.
- The role is part of the Personal and Commercial Banking platform.
- The position supports clients with everyday banking, credit and investment services.
- The role follows a salaried pay structure.
- The position may require travel between listed branch locations as a condition of employment.
- The routine work week is 37.5 hours.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in the branch and the public to understand their banking needs.
- Provide advice and identify suitable banking products and referrals.
- Help clients use digital banking tools and services.
- Process a full range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients and review their individual financial needs.
- Resolve banking concerns and help prevent future issues.
- Build relationships with RBC partners to support client needs.
- Provide a positive client service that builds long term loyalty.
Requirements
- Mutual Funds accreditation is required or can obtain it through the Investment Funds in
- Canada course or the Canadian Securities Course.
- Strong interest in putting clients first and succeeding in a target driven sales environment is required.
- Good problem solving and interaction skills are required.
- Can work with clients and build lasting relationships.
- Skilled in using smartphones and tablets and laptops and other digital devices.
Bilingual. In English and French. - Work background building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector is preferred.
