Job description
- They must have acquired experience in formulating employment policies and programs as well as establishing, strengthening, and building meaningful partnerships with Indigenous people, related organizations, and networks.
- They will be required to take part in outreach initiatives such as customized career fairs, recruiting fairs, and hiring blitzes for Indigenous People.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have the ability to collaborate with Canada Post’s Talent Management and Talent Acquisition units, to create a strong regional pipeline of internal and external talent to support the organization’s future needs.
- They must work together with Learning and Development to provide training on cultural competency for Indigenous peoples in order to increase self-awareness.
- They should be well-versed in Indigenous history, culture, and issues, as well as the social and economic factors that influence health.
Work setting
- Candidates must have finished their post-secondary education, ideally in a related field, or have a mix of professional experience and training that is equivalent.
- Candidates have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and sustain connections. They are also proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- They must design, create, and carry out equity measures, to address gaps, underlying challenges, and risks to Indigenous employment.
