Job Description
- The candidate must prepare general ledgers.
- The candidate must prepare a journal entry.
- The candidate must manage accounts receivable.
- The candidate must prepare a trial balance.
- The candidate will be responsible for opening and closing books for auditors.
- The candidate must prepare bank reconciliations.
- The candidate must invoice clients.
- The candidate must conduct credit and collections.
- The candidate will be in charge of costing and budgeting.
- The candidate must store, update, and retrieve financial data.
- The candidate will be expected to perform clerical duties such as filing and maintaining record systems.
- The candidate must perform general office duties.
- The candidate will be expected to respond to customer complaints or concerns.
- The candidate must organise and keep inventory.
- The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
- The candidate must prepare reports.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a programme lasting one to two years, or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to multitask.
- The candidate should be accurate.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge
- The candidate must be familiar with Sage Accounting Software, Accounting software, ACCPAC, Presentation software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and the Internet.
