Job Description
- The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
- The candidate must perform office and administrative duties.
- The candidate will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs and eligibility for specific services.
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing life skill workshops.
- The candidate must assess the client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting follow-up assessments.
- The candidate must plan, coordinate, and carry out the delivery of specific services in the community.
- The candidate must perform housekeeping duties.
- The candidate will be responsible for food preparation.
- The candidate must be able resolve conflict situations.
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing behaviour management programs.
- The candidate must communicate with other social service agencies and healthcare providers who work with clients.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing service intervention logic models and outcome measures.
- The candidate must maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
- The candidate will be expected to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.
- The candidate will be responsible for screening, recruiting, and training volunteers and support staff.
- The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
- The candidate must accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
