Job Description

  • The candidate must arrange the product according to the planogram.
  • The candidate must establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
  • The candidate must keep adequate stock levels.
  • The candidate will be required to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate must review the establishment’s requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • The candidate must select and purchase merchandise for resale.
  • The candidate must research market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials, as well as attend trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Fluency in Arabic language is an asset.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should have excellent written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be proficient in the Internet, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
