Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to assist in the maintenance and repair of the same.
Job requirement
- Candidates must be grade 12 graduate or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
- They must hold and maintain a valid Water Distribution Level 1 Operator License and willingness to obtain a Water Distribution Level 2 Operator License or higher.
- Candidates are also appointed to maintain a valid Water Meter Installers Certification by the Apprenticeship and Certification Act.
- They must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of Municipal water and sewer systems and equipment to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to work unsupervised in a variety of maintenance and emergencies.
- They must have completed the City of Vaughan and Ministry of Environment courses on Confined Space Entry to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid Class “D” with a “Z” endorsement driver’s license in good standing and be willing to obtain a Class “A” with a “Z” endorsement driver’s license to be eligible for this post.
