The selected applicant must join and assume their responsibilities as soon as possible. The employer is offering a permanent or full-time position. The shift timings for this position include both Day and Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for determining the method of shipping.
• The candidate must maintain an internal record-keeping system.
• The candidate will be responsible for packaging goods for shipment.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy and busy environment, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers working alongside many forklift truck drivers who move pallets between shelves.
• The candidate should work in a retail/wholesale establishment/, or distribution centre, handling products from manufacturers or wholesalers, organizing them, and shipping them to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about Inventory control software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Windows, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience operating dollies, hand trucks, pallet lifters, and scanners.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Public transportation is available for commuting to the work location.

• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
