Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for determining the method of shipping.
- The candidate will be responsible for scheduling the distribution of goods.
- The candidate will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances.
- The candidate must prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
- The candidate must maintain an internal record-keeping system.
- The candidate must record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- The candidate must unpack the received goods.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods.
- The candidate must supervise material handlers and helpers.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of stored materials.
- The candidate must resolve issuesย that may arise, such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining supply storage areas.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
