Tedcons Ontario Inc. is located in Newmarket, ON L3Y 3E3. The company is currently looking for applications for the warehouse foreman/woman role. We are looking for a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take on their responsibilities as soon as possible. The open positions are for Permanent or full-time employment. The shifts may be at night, from 16:00 to 01:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
• The candidate will supervise purchasing and inventory clerks, shippers and receivers, storekeepers, and parts clerks.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must be proactive.

Work setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and ready to work in a new or different city.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be noisy and busy. Hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers work alongside many forklift truck drivers who move pallets between shelves.
