The selected candidate for this position will be expected to start work promptly. The available positions are for Term or contract or Full time job. The timings of shifts may be Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning.

Job Description

• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
• The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
• The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must describe and advise on wine selection.
• The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
• The candidate will be responsible for taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people, 3 to 4 people, or 5 to 10 people.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Work setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be familiar with Electronic cash registers and Point-of-sale systems.
