Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to lead the Torngat Mountains National Park Visitor Experience team in Labrador and Nunavik. 
  • They’re also appointed to lead, plan, and develop the Torngat Mountains National Park Visitor Experience Program in partnership with the Cooperative Management Board. 
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide planning advice to the Park Superintendent as it relates to visitor experience and community engagement. 
  • They’ll also have to perform research and evaluate new and existing visitor experiences and community outreach opportunities. 
  • Candidates are appointed to organize meetings and presentations to collaborate and engage with staff, partners and stakeholders. 
  • They’re also appointed to collaborate with colleagues and partners, via e-mail, video conference and phone when in-person meetings are not possible.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must have completed dedicated graduation from post-secondary studies of at least 2 years in different fields like tourism, history, leisure, heritage or many other related fields. 
  • Candidates must attain dedicated experience in working with Inuit Governments and communities.
  • They must attain experience in the planning, development, pricing, promotion and delivery of programs, activities, operations, services and facilities in a tourism-related context.
  • They just need the ability to plan, develop and deliver activities, programs and services consistent with national standards to be eligible for this post. 
  • Candidates must attain knowledge of the Torngat Mountains National Park and its Cooperative Management structure. 

Work setting 

  • Candidates must attain dedicated experience in establishing and implementing collaborative arrangements to develop and deliver opportunities for visitor experience.
