Job Description

  • The candidate will be in charge of collecting brush.
  • The candidate will be in charge of deleafing.
  • The candidate will be in charge of hoeing crops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing vine growth, vine canopy, and grapes.
  • The candidate will be expected to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate will be in charge of shoot positioning.
  • The candidate will be in charge of suckering.
  • The candidate will be in charge of tying.
  • The candidate will be in charge of weeding.
  • The candidate will be in charge of harvesting crops.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

  • Farm operations include organic farming, other miscellaneous animal farming, and viticulture.
  • The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp and hot conditions.
  • The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

  • The candidate will be required to work in various locations.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience operating a combine harvester, a fertiliser applicator, a manure spreader, a sprayer or duster, tillage equipment, and a tractor.
