Job Description
- The candidate must load and unload goods.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects.
- The candidate will be responsible for tarping and ensuring cargo safety and security.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Air Brake Endorsement Certification and a Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
Experience and specialization
Documentation knowledge
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about accident or incident reports, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip) and maintenance and repair reports.
Type of trucking and equipment
- The trucking and equipment type is dump truck.
Transportation/travel experience
- The candidate must have travel experience in the local area.

- The candidate should be subjected to a thorough driver’s licence validity check and driving record check (abstract).
