Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must have Air Brakes Endorsement Certification, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer trucks, vehicles with more than 3 axles), Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles), and a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Experience and specialization
Documentation knowledge
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), maintenance and repair reports and trip reports.
Type of trucking and equipment
- The trucking and equipment type is roll-off truck.
Communication systems experience
- The candidate will be responsible for operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigational equipment.
Transportation/travel experience
- The candidate must have travel experience in the local area.

Security and safety
- The candidate should be subjected to a thorough driver’s licence validity check and driving record check (abstract).
