Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to represent the department and the TTC as technical specialists on complex internal and external studies, design/application specifics and transit priority applications.
- They’re appointed to keep abreast of technological advances in Transportation Engineering.
- Candidates will also have to act as technical specialists concerning transit priority applications and advise City Transportation Services staff as to the optimum design and application.
- Candidates are appointed to conduct and review transit and traffic impact analyses associated with new developments.
Job requirement
- They must attain a dedicated university degree in Civil Engineering, or the equivalent, combined with several years of directly related experience.
- Candidates with experience in Macro, Meso and Microsimulation software are considered as an asset.
- They must attain the ability to gather information and conduct research.
- They must be able to use office technology, software and applications and provide specialized consultation
