Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to develop and revise short term and long term service plans in the context of MiWay’s goals and the City’s overall public transportation strategies.
  •  They’re also appointed at this post to use recognized industry standards and an in-depth understanding of public transit’s role in the context of the City’s Strategic Plan working at this post.
  •  Candidates who applied for this post are also required to represent MiWay on various ad-hoc work groups and committees providing technical advice and divisional input based on research and analysis working at this post.
  • Applicants who applied for this post are also required to achieve excellence in coordination with other business units within the Section, Division and other City Departments working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must attain a dedicated university degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Transportation Engineering, Business or a related discipline to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a public transit or transportation planning and business planning environment to be preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must be able for professional planning, engineering or business or commerce related designation in Ontario.
  •  Applicants must have a strong mathematical background, preferably with statistical analysis experience including both quantitative and qualitative research to be preferred for this post.

Work setting 

  • They’re appointed for this post to optimize resource utilization by analyzing customer requests and comments working at this post.
