Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are also appointed to supervise an integrated team of staff trainers and external training service providers working at this post.
- They’re also accountable at this post to provide input into and administer the assigned budget, ensuring that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations.
- Applicants interested in this post are required to analyze data on staff training evaluations to improve technical training and employees’ skill acquisition working at this post.
- Candidates interested in this post are also accountable for identifying training and development needs within the organization through consultation and collaboration with internal and external resources.
- They’re interested in coordinating with Corporate People & Equity regarding training relating to Occupational Health & Safety and Organizational Development and Learning working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have prior experience delivering training programs, managing projects and contracted training service providers to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have dedicated sound knowledge of adult education principles and practices and training and evaluation methodologies.
- Candidates must know organizational effectiveness principles as they relate to divisional training and development initiatives to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain a dedicated post-secondary education in Human Resources, Training & Development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants interested in this post are also appointed to build relationships with external training service providers to supervise peaks and valleys of the training schedule working at this post.
