Job Description
- Applicants working in this post are required to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and plans and assist in preparing estimates of costs, time, materials and equipment needed for electrical projects.
- They’re also appointed to this post for programming including HMIs, controllers, PLCs, actuators, and other instruments working at this post.
- Candidates are also required to work collaboratively with other trades including Millwrights, Utility Operators, and SCADA technicians.
- Applicants working at this post are required to work independently to organize and plan work projects at this post.
- Candidates are also required to order supplies and materials.
- Applicants are also appointed at this post to perform heavy manual inside and outdoor work in all types of weather conditions working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have completed Grade 12 and an Electrical Trades Certification to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a Class B Ticket with FSR along with previous experience and training as a qualified trades Electrician to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving history to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have a good working knowledge of applicable safety regulations along with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and others to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They’re also required to keep accurate records including a daily log of activities and assist other crew members in performing their duties working at this post.
