Job Description

  • The candidate must authorize routine deposits and withdrawals.
  • The candidate must establish work schedules and procedures.
  • The candidate must examine and verify the accuracy of the work.
  • The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
  • The candidate must perform the same duties as the workers being supervised.
  • The candidate will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, equipment, and machinery, as well as arranging repair work, to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating credit and loan files.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing statements on delinquent accounts.
  • The candidate must forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
  • The candidate must complete credit and loan documentation.
  • The candidate must authorize loan and credit applications.
  • The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing cash.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising tellers in financial services.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

Experience and specialization
