Job Description

• The candidate must prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses.
• The candidate must prepare, administer, and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress.
• The candidate will be responsible for advising students on program curriculum and career decisions.
• The candidate must prepare reports.
• The candidate will be responsible for operating audiovisual equipment.
• The candidate will have to conduct course and program evaluation or review.
• The candidate must deliver lectures and presentations.
• The candidate must lead discussion groups and seminars.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting students with special needs.
• The candidate will be responsible for teaching students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, laboratory, shop, and field studies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in continuing and adult education facilities, as well as private training organizations or colleges.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
