Job Description
- Candidates applying for this post are required to liaise with other external agencies as required to support project advancement.
- They’re also accountable at this post to assisting Project Delivery and Drainage Planning staff in compiling materials to support claim submissions and community benefits reporting requirements to satisfy grant conditions.
- People who applied for this post are required to prepare content and materials highlighting DMAF and climate resiliency project updates to support ongoing public engagement initiatives working at this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to conduct project-based research as well as data compilation, review and statistical analysis working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid driver’s license to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have experience with analytics/data management using computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
- Applicants must have working knowledge/exposure to lowlands drainage engineering and climate change adaptation in the Lower Mainland to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated working knowledge of GIS applications and must have previous experience working in a municipal government to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to conduct site investigations and review engineering drawings to assess infrastructure and site conditions in flood-hazard areas.
- Applicants are also required to support Drainage Planning staff on coordination activities, project management and consultant management for other projects and initiatives working at this post.
