Job Description

  • The candidate must perform office and administrative tasks.
  • The candidate must be capable of performing administrative duties.
  • The candidate must assess the client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs.
  • The candidate must perform housekeeping activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for food preparation.
  • The candidate must be able to resolve conflicts situations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising the activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses.
  • The candidate must maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.
  • The candidate must have Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

  • The candidate must work in group homes.
  • The employee should be able to work in the employer’s/client’s home, have the ability to work at various site locations, and the specific period of progression is the annual review.
  • The employee should work in a community agency to help build an inclusive environment that makes residents feel integrated and empowered.
  • The candidate should work for a government department or agency that is a permanent or semi-permanent organization in the government machinery and is in charge of overseeing and administering specific functions, such as administration.
  • The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
