Job description
- All candidates will provide clerical support to the Family and Income Stability Department.
- They will also use Microsoft Office Suite to prepare letters in addition to sending and distributing faxes and photocopying.
- Candidates will also create files, schedule meetings, client appointments, take minutes, maintain records and databases, and compile and generate reports and statistics as mandated.
- All candidates have to demonstrate the Corporate Customer Service standards by promptly and professionally assisting all agency personnel and the general public on the phone and at reception.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have successfully completed a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- They are also required to have 1 year post-secondary training in office administration or equivalency from a recognized education facility.
- They also must have relevant Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills.
- Candidates must have the ability to design correspondence and communication materials.
- They also must have strong communication and interpersonal skills both on the telephone and face-to-face.
Work setting
- Candidates have to operate and maintain a custom-tailored client filing system.
- They also must have the ability to operate and maintain a variety of office equipment as required, including relevant computer systems and software.
- Candidates will also provide a valid police check as a condition of employment.
