Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to establish and monitor the attainment of objectives/performance standards and troubleshoot deficiencies.

Job requirement
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyperson tradesperson to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain at least 3 years of working experience and must have increasingly responsible work and supervisory experience, and demonstrated the capability for supervising other employees to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have a valid G Driver’s License to be eligible for this post. Applicants must attain a D or C Ontario Driver’s License with a “Z” endorsement preferred with a Driving Abstract acceptable to the city to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, afternoons, days, and stat holidays with various off days to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates are also appointed to ensure that assigned staff complies with all safety requirements, Corporate policy and procedures, and Standard Practice Instructions working at this post.
- Candidates are also required to support the orientation and training of new Transit Maintenance staff in Transit policies and procedures working at this post.
