Job Description
- Applicants at this post are appointed to manage statistical data such as book-offs, sick absences, overtime, lieu day requests, and accident forms working at this post.
- Applicants are also required to participate in monthly maintenance meetings and ensures that maintenance records are kept up to date via input to maintenance clerk.
- Candidates are appointed to ensures that all work adheres to the Ministry of Transportation legislated requirements working at this post.
- Candidates at this post are also appointed to maintain positive employee relations by fair and equitable treatment of all staff in all areas working at this post.
- Applicants who have applied for this post are required to conduct technical investigations and procedural quality audits at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyperson tradesperson, following attainment of trade certification to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have at least 3 years, must have increasingly responsible work and supervisory experience to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have a valid truck and coach technician certificate and maintain it in good standing to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates at this post must have a valid G Driver’s License along with a dedicated D or C Ontario Driver’s License with a “Z” endorsement.
Work setting
- Applicants at this post must attains ability to act as a coach and mentor through staff development working at this post.
- Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills to get preferred for this post.
